January & February 2026

The year is officially in motion and so are we. From new snacks in the breakroom to jerseys in the hallways, Valentine’s spirit, milestone anniversaries, and a couple standout Quality Champions, it’s been a full start to the year.

This issue is packed with the people, moments, and small celebrations that make this place what it is. Let’s jump in.

New Year, New Snack!

We’re no stranger to food packaging, but New Year, New Snack Day in Sparta proved there’s still plenty left to learn once the bag is opened. 😄🍿

Jersey Day

Playoff season brought out the jerseys and a little friendly rivalry, but it didn’t distract from what matters most. Across the floor, the team stayed focused, supported one another, and kept everything moving the right way.

Valentines Day Spirit

Celebrating our Valentine’s Spirit Day winners in Carol Stream is a great reminder that what makes this place special isn’t just what we produce, it’s the people behind it. We’re grateful for a team that brings this kind of energy every day.

QUALITY CHAMPIONS

At PPI, quality is built in by people who choose to raise the standard every day.
Edward is one of those people.
While performing his routine checks, Edward demonstrated the awareness and judgment that define quality ownership. He took the extra step to verify and ensure everything met the standard we hold ourselves to every day.
That decision reflects what being a Quality Champion is all about. Seeing something. Saying something. Choosing ownership.
Our Director of Quality, Joe, shared:
“Edward embodies what it means to be a Quality Champion. His constant dedication to quality and willingness to pause and ask questions reinforce the standard we hold ourselves to every day. That kind of ownership is what nine years of experience looks like.”
To make it even more meaningful, Edward celebrated 9 years at PPI last week. Nine years of consistency, awareness, and commitment to doing things the right way.
Edward, thank you for setting the example.

There’s no better way to head into the weekend than recognizing the people who quietly protect the standard.
This month, we’re celebrating Sangani as a Quality Champion.
With sharp eyes and steady focus, Sangani noticed something that deserved a second look. It was subtle and easy to miss. Instead of moving on, she trusted her instincts and spoke up.
That decision reflects what being a Quality Champion is all about. Seeing something. Saying something. Choosing ownership.
Our Converting Production Manager, Rob, shared:
“Sangani’s attention to detail is exactly what keeps us strong. What she caught was subtle and easy to miss, but she trusted her instincts and spoke up. Because of that, we were able to proactively evaluate the situation and keep everything moving in the right direction. That level of ownership makes a real difference.”
Excellence at PPI is not loud. It shows up in moments like this, when someone chooses to pause, ask the extra question, and elevate the standard.
Thank you, Sangani, for leading by example.

Annual Sales Meeting

Before diving into forecasts, strategy sessions, and the year ahead, we made time to connect.
Our annual sales meeting started at Topgolf, a little friendly competition before getting down to business. Nothing better than getting the whole crew together and kicking things off the right way.

⏳ Last Poll Results: Winter, love it or leave it?

You’d think more of us would love winter since we’ve taken residence in the tundra! Maybe we all need to visit the extrusion department for a bit of extra warmth this season…
